This Covenant is the ideal of God—it is termed "better" when contrasted with the Old Covenant.

In that he says, "A new covenant," he has made the first old. But that which is becoming old and grows aged is near to vanishing away. (Hebrews 8:13)

The New Covenant embodies the fullness of what Yahweh desired for mankind from the beginning—access to His very Life, Who is the Lord Jesus Christ, His only Son.

This Covenant has tremendous blessings, duties, and ramifications for all the peoples of the world.
